More Information About Prostate 2.4
Prostate 2.4 was created by an advisory board of university physicians and scientists, and its formulation incorporates the most recently published research findings. The daily dosage (2 capsules) of Prostate 2.4 provides 6 nutritional components to support healthy prostate tissue.*
- 30 IU vitamin E (from mixed tocopherols)
- 50 mg gamma-tocopherol
- 2400 IU vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol)
- 70 mcg selenium (as Selenomax® high selenium yeast)
- 30 mg lycopene (as Lyc-O-Mato® tomato lycopene extract)
- 125 mg soy (as Novasoy® 40% providing 50 mg soy isoflavones)
The formulation of Prostate 2.4 is overseen by an advisory board of leading academic physicians and scientists, so it is based on the latest scientific evidence to ensure the right nutrients at the right dosage for optimal effect. The formulations are reviewed regularly, and as new scientific findings are published, the board may recommend changes. Specific nutrients may be added, removed, or dosages adjusted in keeping with the most current findings. For example, in June 2010, the Medical Advisory Board reviewed the current literature and decided to add more gamma-tocopherol, one of the natural forms of vitamin E; subsequently, Prostate 2.4 replaced 2.3.
Prostate 2.4 is independently tested and certified by NSF® International for content accuracy, purity, and freedom from contaminants. NSF International is a not-for-profit organization that has implemented the highest quality control standards in the supplements industry.
